AN ANCIENT HISTORY THAT LIVES ON IN TODAY'S CONTEMPORARY ESTATE.
ANCIENT TESTIMONIALS
The journey that eventually gave rise to Masseria Altemura as it is today was a long one. Even before the arrival of Hannibal, Oria and Torre Santa Susanna were protected sites, defensive garrisons created to protect the settlers from the assaults of brigands.
INNOVATION AND TRADITION
The Zonin family acquired the property in 2000 as part of the company's strategic project to promote and enhance Italian wines. This decision will provide an important boost for the rebirth of Apulian viticulture.
A lengthy initial design project gave way, over time, to work on the land and the Estate’s built structures, which now form the hub of the Company.
